About the Role:
Join Karing Hands Provider Services LLC as a Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to work Monday and Friday afternoons, as well as every other weekend, providing essential support and care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Implement individualized care plans and support goals set by clients and families.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and any changes in behavior or health.
- Facilitate recreational and social activities to promote engagement and interaction.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and healthcare providers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate Monday, Friday afternoons, and weekends.
- Experience in caregiving or support services is a plus.
- Background check and drug screening required.
